Hi, I’m Grey!
I’ve been fascinated by trees since I was old enough to stand, and climbing them since I was tall enough to reach the lowest branch in my backyard. I’ve scared many a family member by sneaking away to the top of a pine tree and coming back down an hour later. I’ve made wonderful memories from within the canopy of an old maple tree.
But alas, adulthood comes for all of us, and duty required that I begin climbing trees with purpose, so I turned to ropes, harnesses, and chainsaws. I got a degree in agriculture. I began working for tree services as a climber, and enjoyed it for a time. I climbed some amazing trees. Some of them I helped. Some of them I killed. They were all wonderful learning experiences, ones that have shaped the way that I practice arboriculture today, but there was always something missing.
That’s why I started Inchworm Eco-Arborist. I want to find the missing reagents in the formula for a perfect tree care service. I want to find the balance between client and tree, between nature and the HOA, between cost and quality. I want to do things differently, but in a fun way, a safe way, and kind way. I’m here for you, your trees, your home, and your neighbors.
If you’re still wondering, ‘What is an Eco-Arborist?’, I’ll tell you this. Yes, it’s a fancy way of saying ‘tree service’, but it’s a tree service committed to the tree. Our environment is the most important thing we have. I’m here to help you help your trees, and in turn, your environment. I won’t hurt your trees, and I won’t remove a tree just to get a bigger payout. I will heal your trees if I can, and I will make sure that you are happy when the job is done.
